Hana Table
by: Michael Carroll

This is my interpretation of a traditional Japanese dining table. The wood is locally harvested Mendocino Cypress. The arrangement of the top slabs is a spiral, suggesting a flower, thus the name Hana table which means flower in Japanese. The slate in the center is carved withe the original Kanji character Hana which means flower.
